PLEASE NOTE - due to the rigid nature of dip powders this product is not suitable to be used underneath them.

Australian made, water based nail polish that doubles as a black peel off base coat. Specifically designed to stay on your nails until you need it to peel off! Useful under chunky glitters, flakies, sheer polishes, toppers and pigments.

For best results
  • Ensure your nails are clean, dry and oil free. A quick swipe with acetone or a nail dehydrator may be useful
  • Apply one thin coat and allow to dry completely. It is best to NOT cap the free edge with the base coat
  • thin coats will dry quicker and last longer

Being water based, this product is slower drying (especially in humid weather) than a regular base coat.  A short 10 sec blast with a hair dryer can be used to speed up the drying time.

  • Apply your polish as normal, making sure to cap the free edge
  • When you are ready to peel off your polish, just lift an edge with an orange stick and peel. PLEASE for the love of nails (and fingers) everywhere we recommend you don't use a metal cuticle pusher to remove your polish!
  • Polish is easier to peel off after your hands have been in water. After a shower is ideal.
  • Can also be used with chrome powders as shown in the video. Rub the chrome powder gently into the polish when it is touch dry. Apply a water based topcoat such as our "Watertight" smear free topcoat to protect the beautiful shine.

FAQs

How do you make nail polish?!!
This is the question I am asked the most! Just like a baker uses flour, eggs, sugar, butter etc to make cakes and desserts, I use "raw" ingredients such as a lacquer base, solvent stable tints, mica and glitters to formulate my own polishes.

Where is the store based?
Hervey Bay, Australia

What currency is the site in?
All prices are in Australian dollars

What is this store's return and exchange policy?
Due to the nature of the product I do not accept returns. While I have made every effort to display as colour accurate photos as possible there are colour variations in diferent monitors. If in doubt please also read the description of the colour.
If there is any problem with your order please don't hesitate to contact me, customer satisfaction is my priority. If an item arrives damaged, please email me with a photo within 3 days of delivery for a replacement or a refund. Replacement items will be the same colour.

Do you accept international orders?
I can ship internationally, but to ship a few bottles according to dangerous goods regulations is quite expensive. I can however ship stamping plates and pigments worldwide. Please get in touch through the "Contact us" tab.

International stockists are:

Beautometry (US, ships internationally)

Lantern and Wren (US)

OMG Beauty (NZ, ships to New Zealand)

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are processed within 3-5 working days, once shipped they take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on where you live. Orders to Western Australia can take up to a week. Orders to Eastern states are much quicker.

Can the stamping polishes be used as a regular polish?
Yes they can, but they have been formulated specifically for stamping and to be as opaque as possible. You may find that the thicker formula is not that easy to apply as regular polish and they may chip relatively easily. They do however work well for gradients with only one or two layers needed for opacity.

The Easiest Peely I have ever had

One Coat Black, meet Black Undies. This is a one coat black base coat that is pitch dark, dries relatively shorter than expected, and incredibly easy to work with. Was skeptical about clean up initially because yknow, black polishes can be a pain to clean. But guess what? You can wait for it to dry and scrape it off the cuticle with an orange wood stick with absolutely no issues or staining. Where has this been all my life? Apparently right here, 10/10, 5 of 5 stars. Would absolutely reccomend!

Did someone say PITCH BLACK?!

This black is seriously opaque, one solid coat and your nail is covered! I've used this as a "base" coat of black under some sheer/semi sheer dip colours and it is a game changer.

Also the peel base aspect is just as good as the clear one, holds really well but peels/pops off when you need it to.

Heck Yes!!!!

Aside from being an amazing base coat, it's also opaque in one coat which is frankly a miracle that I've never witnessed in any other black nail polish before. I am gobsmacked. Love it!!

Thanks for your review! So glad you love it as much as I do! :)

Best product ever!

I absolutely love this product! You only need one coat of it to be pure black! I can get over a weeks wear before I remove my glitter manicure using this peel off basecoat. It has never accidentally fallen or chipped off. I can't recommend it enough! Everyone NEEDS this in their collection.
