You may have seen terms like 5 FREE, 7 FREE, 10 FREE and even 20 FREE. WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?! Unless you have an extensive knowledge of chemistry it can all get pretty confusing!
Since there is no regulatory body to strictly define what these terms mean, they are open to interpretation and are often used as a marketing ploy. We don't say that we've taken out things that were never there in the first place!

It is agreed upon that "5 free" means the polishes do not contain any of the following. The vast majority of modern nail polishes do not contain any of these ingredients that were used in the past. Our polishes DON'T contain them either.

    • formaldehyde,
    • dibutyl phthalate
    • toluene
    • camphor
    • formaldehyde resin.

OUR POLISHES ARE ALSO FREE OF....
        • fragrance
        • xylene (Our "Varnish without a Trace" topcoat does contain xylene)
        • gluten - sometimes used in top and basecoats, rest assured ours are gluten free!
        • triphenyl phosphate TPHP
        • ethyl tosylamide
        • marketing ploys
        • misleading claims
        • parabens
        • sulfates
        • GMOs
        • petrochemicals
        • coconut oil
These last 5 ingredients have NEVER been used in nail polish!

          FAQs

How do you make nail polish?!!
This is the question I am asked the most! Just like a baker uses flour, eggs, sugar, butter etc to make cakes and desserts, I use "raw" ingredients such as a lacquer base, solvent stable tints, mica and glitters to formulate my own polishes.

          Where is the store based?
          Hervey Bay, Australia

What currency is the site in?
All prices are in Australian dollars

What is this store's return and exchange policy?
Due to the nature of the product I do not accept returns. While I have made every effort to display as colour accurate photos as possible there are colour variations in diferent monitors. If in doubt please also read the description of the colour.
If there is any problem with your order please don't hesitate to contact me, customer satisfaction is my priority. If an item arrives damaged, please email me with a photo within 3 days of delivery for a replacement or a refund. Replacement items will be the same colour.

          Do you accept international orders?
I can ship internationally, but to ship a few bottles according to dangerous goods regulations is quite expensive. I can however ship stamping plates and pigments worldwide. Please get in touch through the "Contact us" tab.

          International stockists are:

          Beautometry (US, ships internationally)

          Lantern and Wren (US)

OMG Beauty (NZ, ships to New Zealand)

How long will it take to receive my order?
Orders are processed within 3-5 working days, once shipped they take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on where you live. Orders to Western Australia can take up to a week. Orders to Eastern states are much quicker.

Can the stamping polishes be used as a regular polish?
Yes they can, but they have been formulated specifically for stamping and to be as opaque as possible. You may find that the thicker formula is not that easy to apply as regular polish and they may chip relatively easily. They do however work well for gradients with only one or two layers needed for opacity.

          Love this collection

I used this set to do some gradient stamping and it worked perfectly over a dark background (aside from me lacking stamping skills on my middle and ring fingers).

          Perfection ❤

So in love with hit the bottle, iam new to stamping but went all in on a full collection I was not disappointed, after only using black and white gel to stamp I really wanted colours and theses are perfect. I have now got 23 hit the bottle bottles and am looking at more... they pick up from the plates perfect and stamp onto the nail perfect every time. Great job hit the bottle customer for life 👏
